IRIS In order to accomplish the needs of the insurance industry regarding the issuance of the TPLs, ALTEC has developed the “IRIS “system, which enables the integration and total control over the issuance and utilization of TPLs. The system is constructed in the way that its integral (component) modules communicate through the network. This system is composed of the following modules: Module for the release - issuance of the TPLs. Module for annulment, invalidation and replacement of TPLs. Module for the management of agents and data of the issued TPLs. Module for Claim evidence and reporting. Module for the verification of the authenticity of TPLs. Module for generating reports, statistics and analysis of the data. Central module for the control and maintenance of the data. GOAL “IRIS” System is projected to: -Assist and advance the development of the vehicle insurance industry. -Fulfill the needs of the organizations involved in the vehicle insurance industry. -Enable the integration of the vehicle registration centers as well as the competent authorities involved in this industry. -Prevent the misuse of the TPLs. -Offer better control over the issuance of the TPLs. -Drastically improve data management of the TPLs. CHARACTERISTICS “IRIS” System is characterized with features, which will influence the efficiency and stability of this system including: A. Generation of the TPL unique number from the central server. B. Integration of the two-dimensional barcode technology. C. Utilization of most modern methods and techniques of encryption standards. D. Data automation. E. Possibility for gradation of the system (possibility for the application of the SmartCard technology, on-line purchasing of TPLs, etc.) TPL Unique Number Each TPL released through IRIS will have its unique number. There is a mechanism that will generate a unique ten-cipher number for each request of releasing TPLs through the central server. This mechanism guarantees each TPL will be unique and eliminates the possibility of redoubling the TPLs. Two dimensional barcode and encryption Due to its construction, IRIS is characterized with the use of most modern methods and techniques of encryption standards and the technology of the two dimensional barcode. Currently the two-dimensional barcode technology has become time imperative and has been infiltrated in all business community spheres worldwide. Many large companies such as UPS, Ford, Wal-Mart, etc. whose activities lie in different fields, now request that their shipments and orders be labeled with two-dimensional barcode, and as each day goes by more and more corporations are adapting this technology. Taking into consideration these facts, this technology has been applied in the IRIS System integrating as well the encryption methods. All the data that a TPL contains are encrypted with a key made of 4096 bit and then they are encrypted in the two dimensional barcode. This mechanism eliminates the possibility of reading or printing of this barcode outside the IRIS system, and makes it possible that the validity of the TPL may be verified on the street from the traffic police. This system is projected in a modular form and allows the integration of all other services that are connected directly or indirectly with the TPL. IPTV Video streaming over IP using proprietary internet protocols forming a generic grid network. This technology is secure, scalable and manageable distribution vehicle of live real-time media without the need for centralized network resources. Currently we have an eight (8) channels\ stream to this network, which is used as a broadcast tool.
